At the heart of Atlantis Wideboard Plus is an SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) core, strategically sandwiched between two layers of high-quality PVC vinyl. This ABA construction not only increases underfoot softness but also ensures maximum dimensional stability, dent resistance, and overall longevity, making it our most advanced and stable hybrid board yet.
What Is ABA Construction – And Why Does It Matter?
When it comes to hybrid SPC flooring, there are typically three construction types:
- Standard: Single-layer SPC flooring
- AB Structure: LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) sheet + SPC rigid core
- ABA Structure: LVT sheet + SPC rigid core + LVT sheet
